Expeditor/ Procurement Manager
Key Roles & Responsibilities Include:
Manage all new vendor accounts and maintain existing trade accounts.
Coordinates and executes opening trade accounts with new wholesale vendors.
Maintain and update the supplier database with relevant vendor information.
Create and process all purchase orders for interior design projects.
Order and manage all approved goods within client proposals.
Track and monitor the status of material samples, orders, and deliveries.
Organize proposal items’ estimated arrivals per client; create installation schedules based on products’ estimated arrivals per client project scope.
Manage all correspondence with local furniture receiving, storage, and delivery companies to ensure all approved client goods are safely and pristinely received for furniture installations.
Inspect all products that Bide Studio receives to ensure all client goods are in pristine condition at final installation.
Coordinate returns, exchanges, etc. with vendors when items come in incorrect or damaged.
Organize Bide Studio furniture installations by corresponding with local storage and receiving companies.
Coordinate and assist with all White Glove furniture installations at client residences.
Assist with all Bide Studio photoshoots and trade market shows.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
A basic understanding of interior design principles and procurement processes is preferred but not required.
Interior Designer
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget. Provide expert advice on design concepts, materials, color schemes, and spatial arrangements.
Create and present design concepts, including mood boards, sketches, floor plans, and 3D renderings. Ensure designs meet client specifications and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
Oversee the design process from initial concept to final installation. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and on-budget project completion.
Develop detailed floor plans and layouts that optimize space utilization and functionality while enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the environment.
Source and select materials, furnishings, and accessories that align with the design vision and client requirements. Manage procurement and ensure timely delivery.
Prepare and manage design budgets. Track expenses and ensure that the project stays within the allocated budget.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure that the design is being implemented as planned.
Stay current with industry trends, materials, and techniques to offer innovative and up-to-date design solutions.
Work closely with architects, builders, sub-vendors, and other design professionals to integrate design elements seamlessly into the overall project.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Address any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of color theory, space planning, and design principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and collaborate effectively with team members.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Junior Interior Designer
